CONCESSIONS COMMITTEE

FACILITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

- Perform analysis and forecasting of OABC needs
- Inspect fields and facilities to determine the need for repairs or renovations
FASTPITCH COMMITTEE

Responsibilities:
- Establish skill development goals for OABC’s Fastpitch program
- Organizes training programs and clinics for players and coaches
- Create/update Coach Training Guide for all fastpitch coaches
- Works with Fastpitch coaches to establish in-season field practice & game schedules
- Oversees Fastpitch Tournament and volunteers (unless or until a tournament director is established.)
- Works with Competition Committee to organize tryouts
- Works with Executive Board to select coaches
- Works with Executive Board to oversee roster selection and finalization across age divisions
FUNDRAISING & BUDGET COMMITTEE

GROUNDS & FIELDS COMMITTEE

Responsibilities:
- Spring Season Prep: Filling low spots and lightly top with magic mix. Remove lose material around mound and home plate with broom. Fill in low areas with mound clay, tamp, and water. Cover these areas with light coat of magic mix. Hand drag, rake, and chalk the remainder of the fields. Install bases if needed.
- Regular Season Prep: Prepare the fields for Opening Day, Scheduled Games and League Tournaments. Activities include: Installing bases, chalking, dragging.
- Fall Season Prep: Clean, organize, and inventory the storage shed at the season end. Winterize the park.
- Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
- Supervise all groundskeepers and external contractors
SCHEDULING COMMITTEE

- Oversees the coordination of one tournament.
- Register our home tournaments online
- Accepting/declining teams who wish to participate
- Evaluate and schedule vendors for t-shirts, food, etc.
